Today, I'm going to discuss my favorite SUV, the redesigned Jeep Compass. Overall, I feel this car is a great purchase for the price. Within this post, I will cover the exterior design, interior design, and other interesting information about the vehicle. So, let's get started.

    1. Exterior Design

Jeep did a great job redesigning this iconic car. The unique grill unifies the Jeep brand allowing this car to be a mini version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep Wrangler. The LED lights and black roof add a high tech aspect with the red tow hooks for contrast. The Trailhawk, my favorite model, comes with black and silver, sporty rims and some great standard features. Overall, Jeep really hits the mark with this new Compass, creating a sporty, small off-roading vehicle.

    2. Interior Design

Jeep did just as well on the interior with great high tech features and luxury elements for the Trailhawk's start price of $28,695. Whether it be the sporty steering wheel or large dashboard screen, Jeep has it covered. The main touchscreen is 8.4 inches and can include navigation as well as SiriusXM Guardian according to Jeep. It also features compatibility with both Apple and Android phones and also can include a remote start system. The panorama roof and availability of room within the vehicle keeps the Jeep reputation with the ability to carry more with an adjustable hatch floor. The leather seat option also adds a sense of sportiness with the red accents on the dashboard and the seat stitching. 3. Fast Facts: An Overview

According to Car and Driver, the Jeep Compass gets between 22 and 31 miles per gallon. Also, it has a max speed of 112mph with a 180 horsepower engine and a 0 to 60 in 8.4 seconds. They rated the Compass as a three out of five due to some of the features they felt to be subpar including the touchscreen size, but they test drove the lower level Sport model and not the Trailhawk. This is a major difference that I would like to point out. Overall, I feel that this car is great, with all the features for the price and the options and choices available with each model.
